Terms of Use – POSIQO Card and Canteen Services

POSIQO is a closed-loop institutional canteen management platform operated by HARLALKA KITCHENS PRIVATE LIMITED. The platform has been developed and is technically maintained by Codide.

Welcome to POSIQO (“POSIQO,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the POSIQO website, mobile applications, account, card, recharge facility, and related canteen services. By using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using POSIQO, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform.

2. Services Provided

POSIQO allows registered customers, parents, guardians, students, and authorised users to add advance canteen credit to a POSIQO account or card and use the available balance to purchase eligible food and beverage items from authorised POSIQO canteen outlets.

POSIQO is not a bank account, payment bank, general-purpose wallet, money-transfer service, or cash-withdrawal facility. The available balance is closed-loop, non-transferable, non-withdrawable, and may be used only within authorised POSIQO canteen outlets.

3. Eligibility and Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information while registering or using the platform. Student accounts may be created or managed with the consent and supervision of a parent, guardian, or participating institution. Use of POSIQO for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised activities is strictly prohibited.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Keep your account credentials, card details, PIN, and password secure.
  • Check the account or card details carefully before submitting a recharge.
  • Maintain sufficient available balance before making a canteen purchase.
  • Review transaction details before confirmation and report any suspected misuse promptly.
  • Do not share access credentials with unauthorised persons.

5. Recharge, Fees, and Charges

Recharge amounts and any applicable taxes, gateway fees, or service charges will be shown before payment confirmation. A successful recharge will be credited to the selected POSIQO account or card after payment verification.

Users are responsible for entering the correct email address, account identifier, or card number. A recharge successfully credited to the account or card selected by the user may not be reversible except where required by law or approved after review.

6. Failed, Pending, Duplicate, and Incorrect Transactions

If a payment is unsuccessful but the amount is debited, the payment provider or bank may automatically reverse it. The time required for reversal depends on the bank, card network, UPI provider, or payment gateway.

If a payment is successful but the corresponding canteen credit is not added, or if a duplicate payment occurs, please contact our support team with the transaction details. After verification, an approved refund will be processed to the original payment method.

Refund processing and bank settlement times may vary. POSIQO is not responsible for delays caused solely by banks, card networks, UPI providers, or payment gateways.

7. Use of Card Balance

  • The balance may be used only for eligible purchases at authorised POSIQO canteen outlets.
  • The balance cannot be transferred to another user or card unless an authorised administrative correction is required.
  • The balance cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash.
  • Parents or guardians may use available card controls, including daily spending limits and card lock or unlock features, where available.

8. Offers, Discounts, and Rewards

Offers, cashback, discounts, or loyalty benefits may be introduced from time to time. Their availability, eligibility, validity, and conditions will be communicated separately. Such benefits are not guaranteed and may be modified or withdrawn.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

10. Prohibited Use

  • Do not use POSIQO for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorised purposes.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, card, server, database, or system.
  • Do not disrupt, reverse-engineer, copy, manipulate, or misuse the platform.
  • Do not exploit technical errors, offers, rewards, or referral programmes unfairly.

11. Availability and Service Changes

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Services may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, internet disruption, banking downtime, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features where necessary.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, POSIQO and HARLALKA KITCHENS PRIVATE LIMITED will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Any direct liability relating to a verified transaction dispute will be limited to the amount of that transaction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Suspension or Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or card if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, security risk, violation of these Terms, or unlawful activity. Where appropriate, the user may be asked to provide information or documents for verification.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on this page. Continued use of POSIQO after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
